HARVARD MAN is a film written and directed by James Toback in 2001.
Alan Jensen is studying philosophy at Harvard and plays basketball in the university team. Now Alan needs $100,000 to help his parents in Kansas who have lost all their possessions as a result of the last tornado. His girl-friend Cyndi, the daughter of a local mob boss, tells him that her father will give him the money if Adam agrees to fix the next game he will take part in. Adam says yes.

Adam, who's also an expert on drugs, has just received some tablets of pure LSD, made specially for him by a student in chemistry. He's so happy with the idea of having been able to help his parents that he gulps down all his tablets while flying back to Boston. What Adam doesn't know is that Cyndi's father was under FBI surveillance and that he's himself tailed by an agent. Undergoing disturbing hallucinations and hearing voices, Adam will have notheless to face the consequences of his reprehensible act on the same day.
