Jackie Brown, a 43 years old stewardess, is currently helping Ordel Robbie to transfer discreetly his money in Mexico. Ordel, an arms dealer, doesn't suspect that the police is keeping a watch on him until the day Jackie is arrested at the Los Angeles airport.

The policemen propose a deal to Jackie if she helps them to catch Ordell. The smart Jackie has to figure out a way not to be killed by the distrustful Ordell, to avoid prison and to steal the $500,000, belonging to Ordell. Meanwhile, Ordell is beginning to feel a little nervous and is starting to eliminate those who could become a threat to him.
