Xavier is a young Frenchman who has just graduated from college. Unexperienced and unsure about his future plans, he decides to go to graduate school in Barcelona. Xavier moves into an exciting apartment filled with young people from all over Europe. In this environment, he begins to become more adventurous and more sure of himself, but grows apart from his girlfriend in France, Martine. After their relationship ends, Xavier is fully able to explore the many possibilities that Barcelona holds for him.
