This film takes a page from Mr. Holland's Opus. A woman with a passion for music decides to take a teaching job at a New York school. But there's just one problem: She's never taught anything before. The new teacher is in charge of the school orchestra anyway, and she breathes new life into the group. And she gets an added bonus, since her kids are in the orchestra. The most touching scene is when the orchestra gets an invitation to play Carnegie Hall.
