Ian Holm is a New-York policeman badly hit while tempting to arrest Jordan Washington - played by Shiek Mahmud-Bey - the most dangerous drug dealer in Harlem. His son Andy Garcia is chosen to prosecute Washington after his surrender. Garcia does a wonderful job at the trial and is soon elected as District Attorney of NYC.

A good Lumet movie.
