Michael Jennings is a brilliant engineer who earns his life by working for big companies that erase his memory as soon as he has finished to work for them. One day, he's asked by his friend James Rethrick to develop a three years project for his company. The salary is a 90 million dollars paycheck. When Michael wakes up three years later, he discovers with amazement that he himself gave up his 90 mio. $ worth stock options a few days before his awakening.
With the help of a few objects he sent to himself just before having his memory erased, Michael tries to understand what he has done during the last years. When he notices that each one of these objects seems to have been prepared for a special purpose as though he was then aware of his future actions, Michael suddenly understands that he developed a machine able to foresee the future for Rethrick. Now he's hunted by Rethnick and his men who want him to destroy the virus he secretly inserted in the machine just before having his memory erased.
