Rhett Butler still knows he loves Scarlett O'Hara. Trying to forget the past, Rhett gets married, but tragically loses his wife to Yellow Fever. Scarlett gets involved with another man in Ireland, her native country. This man ends up raping her, then mysteriously is killed the next day. Scarlett is to blame, and Rhett comes to her rescue. This is the last movie of the Gone With the Wind series.
