Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Simone

Al Pacino is a desolate Hollywood director, he hasn't made a blockbuster in a long time until an obsessed fan wills him the computer technology to create a leading lady that will dazzle everyone. He uses this hologram to create a few movies, but everyone is becoming suspicious because she's never seen. He's forced to have her 'appear' on various TV programs (remote of course) and do a live concert, which he acomplishes by using a lot of smoke and a projected image.

Viktor (Al Pacino) is a struggling director who has had nothing but flops lately. When his lead actress turns out to be cruel and quits, he searches for an alternative to finishing his movie. Then Hank (Elias Koteas) comes along with a revolutionary new idea of using all computer people instead of real actors. He says that he has developed a new system which would allow someone to do it. Viktor turns him down and drives away. Weeks later, on the verge of mortgaging everything to stay wealthy, a package arrives to Vicktor from Hank, who passed away and left him his device. When Viktor operates it, he realizes the potential and decides to finish the film with his new tool, Simulation One, or, Simone. Soon, Vicktor becomes obsessed with Simone and all of a sudden refuses to let the public know what she really is. Simone brings in millions of followers and international acclaim. Yet no one seems to have actually met her. Soon, Viktor realizes that he has gone too far and must dispose of Simone. When he does, he ends up being convicted of murder.
