Eddie (Rhames) is a retired Reno cop who is trying to pass the remaining years of his life on a homestead outside the city. His sister Kassie (Washington) is in trouble with a drug dealing lowlife named Charlie Strom (Oldham). Eddie is alerted to the problem and is searching for his sister. He soon discovers Strom is only interested in baiting him into a game of cat-and-mouse in which his sister is used and abused as a pawn. Now Eddie is really mad, but he's glad he is no longer a cop so he can really dispense some justice.
