The To Do List Movie Review Summary

Actors: Aubrey Plaza, Johnny Simmons, Bill Hader, Rachel Bilson

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The To Do List

The To Do List can be labeled as the first female American Pie. Starring Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) in the lead role, the movie tells the story of a high school valedictorian who makes a list of sexual things she needs to complete before she heads out to college.

It all happens after Brandy Klark had a brief kissing encounter with a high school jock at a party who later she has a crush on. Together with her two best friends, the sexually inexperience Brandy, gathered points all summer and made a sexual list lessons she needs to learn before ending her summer by losing her virginity to her crush, the high school jock.

Brandy works at the local pool, where she spends most of her time "hooking up" with guys by performing series of (awkward funny) mild sexual encounters which she has put on her list; while along the way realizing that the path to sexual maturity might need more than a few "to do list".
Best part of story, including ending: I like the movie because it is pretty bold and raunchy at the same time.

Best scene in story: The scene where Brandy got drunk for the first time. Aubrey Plaza nailed the clumsy, weird, smart girl part.

Opinion about the main character: I like how Brandy is so straightforward when it comes to sex. A rare female character in Hollywood.
