Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Music Man

Con-man Harold Hill comes to River City, Iowa and convinces everyone in River City that they need a boy's band, although he himself cannot read music. On the way, he gets everyone excited and falls in love with the town's librarian. When the town discovers he is not a real conductor, they insist the band play. The band plays a barely recognizable "Minuet in G" and Harold Hill is forgiven.
