Detailed Plot Synopsis of The Women

The rich Mary Haines tries her hardest to win her husband back from a lower class shopgirl. Originally choosing to ignore her, her gossipy girlfriends convince her otherwise and she goes off to Reno for a divorce. Several of her friends join her in divorcing their husbands, and Mary decides to reconsider, saving her marriage and maintaining a secure home for their young daughter.
