What's Love Got to Do With It, is a detailed account of the life of Tina Turner. The movie has Oscar caliber performances by the two main characters. It shows the story of her rise in fame with husband Ike. His physical and mental abuse tore her down and helped to build into the amazing performer she is today. The story is based on the book I Tina written by Tina and Kurt Loder of MTV.
