Couples Retreat is a movie about four different couples who each have issues within their respective relationships. The first couple, Dave (Vince Vaughn) and Ronnie (Malin Akerman) are the typical married couple coping with the stress of raising their children, redecorating their house etc. The second couple are Joey (John Favreau) and Lucy (Kristin Davis) whose marriage is on the verge a falling apart.

Jason and Cynthia are third couple and they are having problems trying to conceive a child, while the fourth couple consists of Shane - a divorced man - who's dating a much younger female. Jason and Cynthia decide to go to a couples retreat for therapy in hopes of saving their marriage and can get a discount on the price if they can get three other couples to come along with them. So they encourage - more so mislead - the others to join them on the retreat, which experiences problems when it divides into two sections. Some laughs ensue as the couples try to save their relationships.
Best part of story, including ending:
Liked seeing the couples fight over ridiculous things.
Best scene in story:
Jason and Cynthia's power point presentation at the birthday party.
Opinion about the main character:
Didn't like him seemed selfish and insecure, and wasn't that funny to me.
