Zack and Miri have been best friends for a very long time, and their relationship is totally platonic. They went to school together, they currently live together, and they drive to work together. They both have less-than-ideal jobs and are having trouble keeping up with their rent and utility bills. After their water was turned off and they received their second eviction notice, Zack and Miri decide to make a porno film to earn cash.

The laughter ensues as Zack, Miri, and the rest of their crew hold auditions to find their porn stars. The final group consists of a co-worker named Delaney who is providing financing, a stripper named Stacey, a man who isn't afraid to expose himself called Lester, and Deacon the cameraman. There is one more scene that needs actors, so Zack and Miri also shoot a sex scene.
During the hilarious trials and tribulations of making a porn movie, Zack and Miri find out that perhaps they have more feelings for each other than they realized. While the main theme of the story is about thinking outside the box to earn a living, it's also a love story.
If you don't like jokes with sexual innuendos or swears, then this movie isn't for you. If you don't mind these types of jokes and language, then this will be one of the funniest movies you ever see.
Zack is played by the loveable Seth Rogen, and Miri is played by the beautiful Elizabeth Banks. These two have fantastic on-screen chemistry that makes the whole adventure in this film seem like something straight from real life. The supporting characters include Jason Mewes, Craig Robinson, Katie Morgan, and Jeff Anderson, all of who are fantastic in the movie.

I enjoyed this movie because I have not laughed this hard in a very long time.
Best scene in story:
It's hard to pick a favorite scene in Zack and Miri Make A Porno because there are so many that will have you laughing so hard you'll have tears running down your face. But if I had to choose one, I'd say it's when real-life porn star Traci Lords performs an interesting bubble trick. I like this scene because it's the last thing you'd expect to see, and it's hilarious.
Opinion about the main character:
I like that Zack and Miri resemble real-life friends, with real-life problems, but they have a great outlook on life.
