His parents made the difficult decision to stop home schooling and enroll him in a private school. When he first got there he had only 2 friends, Summer and Jack. Everyone else in the school was scared or would try to bully August. In the end August stole the hearts of all of his classmates and teacher.
Best part of story, including ending: I like this story because it was heartwarming and encouraging.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene was when he won a school award at the end of the story. That was when I felt like he completed his mission of 5th grade.

Opinion about the main character: I like that August didn't care about what anyone told him, he still would do his best.
