Bobby Walker (Ben Affleck) starts out in this movie as a white-collar rich corporate worker. He has a family and is driven with commitment and dedication. However, when the company that he worked for (GTX) downsizes he is forced to work for his brother-in-law installing drywall. This happens around the same time that he moves his family in with his parents, after having to sell his car and his house. During the course of all this, GTX is downsized further and the senior manager, Phil Woodward, is also laid off.

Phil is determined to start his own company and he first hires Bobby back to work with him. Together they start their own company with previous GTX workers.
Best part of story, including ending: I really liked that even though Bobby had to move his family in with his parents, he took a job so he could still help to support his family. This shows that family means everything to him.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene was when Bobby goes into the empty offices of the company that him and Phil are going to start. This shows meaning to me because they are starting from nothing and moving back up the ladder to success all over again.

Opinion about the main character: I really like that the main character is dedicated to his family all the way. I also like that no matter what he didn't give up and kept working even if it was only in a blue-collar job for awhile.
