Jason, Daniel, and Mikey are good friends who agree on a no-girlfriend policy after Mikey is asked by his wife for a divorce. However, they soon start breaking their vow when Zac Efron meets Ellie, Daniel starts falling for his bestfriend Chelsea, and Mikey reconciles with his wife. The three boys try to keep their relationships a secret but things start to unravel when their affairs are discovered. The boys' friendship is tested, while each of their relationships also start to crumble. Jason fails to commit to Ellie at the last moment, Daniel is in denial with his relationship to Chelsea, thus hurting her, while Mikey's marriage finally dissolves. In the end, they overcome their commitment issues and try to woo their women. Jason makes a grand gesture of love at a book reading for Ellie, Daniel admits to Chelsea that he loves her, and Mikey moves on and dates another woman.

Best part of story, including ending:
Because most of the bromance movies I've seen mostly feature frat boys, or man-children, these guys are a little more grown-up, or are at least trying to navigate their adult lovelives with a little dignity.

Opinion about the main character:
I guess it's cliche for Jason to be the guy who meets the girl of his dreams but always fears commitment at the last minute.
