I am searching for the book that I believe was written by Max Shulman but I'm not positive. In it the protagonist is a student at the Univ. of Minnesota(?) taking a course in creative writing. The passage I am looking for describes flashbacks, telescoping flashbacks etc. etc. to double telescoping double flashbacks, and other literary silliness. I have Barefoot Boy with Cheek, Potatoes Are Cheaper, The Zebra Derby, The Feather Merchants, it's in none of those. Anyone know?
