Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging is the diary/journal of a British, teenaged girl, Georgia Nicolson. She's pretty much like every other teen excepting the fact that she spends a majority of her time doing ridiculously stupid things such as shaving off her eyebrows or bleaching her hair so horribly that a chunk falls out. She is, quite literally, obsessed with a man named Robbie. Her friends Jas, Jools, Rosie and Ellen are all as mad as her and together they cause disruptions in their classroom when they start painting their toenails, car accidents when they sashay down the street in their "tart clothing" and much more. Georgia has a little sister named Libby who insists on calling her Gingy as she is convinced that Georgia is a cat. Libby often crawls into bed with her, completely naked and carrying some form of hard and pointy toy. Georgia's parents are also quite eccentric. She calls them Mutti(mother)and Vatti(father) as this is apparently German or something along those lines.

This book is written as the diary of Georgia who is 14. Georgia deals with a little sister who likes to leave wet diapers in her bed, a best friend who is almost as boy crazy as she is as well as a cat who might just be the next weapon of mass destruction. During the year she takes kissing lessons and ends up with a few boyfriends (or at least she thinks they are boyfriends). But, does she get the boy that she really wants?
You follow the life of an adolescent and get to see into her mind.
