What do romance and bovine procreation have in common? Everything according to Zigman, author of Animal Husbandry. This is a book for the woman scorned. A book that combines humor with humiliation while suppling a single minded assault on males in comparing them to a "new cow theory" where a bull mates and dumps cows, never to again mate the same one with the modern males dating techniques. Very funny, and sweet and touching at times, this book will make any woman who has been jilted feel a little better, as the books heroine, Jane, finds an outlet as a successful incognito commentator with her "theory." So, move over old cows, the new cow is back in town. (This book is now a movie, "Someone Like You" starring Ashely Judd).
