Blind Justice Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Blind Justice

Ben Kincaid is now in private practice for himself. He is struggling to make ends meet, as all of his clients to date have only modest means. Unexpectedly, his friend and former legal assistant, Christina McCall, is arrested for murdering a suspected drug smuggler. Ben goes to the jail to visit Christina, and she tells him that she wants him to represent her. Ben is justifiably nervous about taking on the FBI, but will do what he can for his friend to keep her from spending the rest of her life in prison or getting the death sentence.

Ben struggles to build a case that will get justice for Christina, but has difficulty at all turns, from the prosecutors for the FBI who don't care whether Christina is innocent or guilty, from various people who are suspects in the murder, and from the judge, who has a personal grudge against Ben. Making things worse, another person involved in the drug smuggling turns up dead, and the FBI wants to pin that murder on Christina as well.
