Blindsight is Robin Cook's set up for Contagion. Laurie Montgomery, a medical examiner, tries to prove that upscale overdose cases are overdoses. What she finds in the process is a wild ride. Dr. Cook masterfully sets up the characters and makes the reader part of the action. Dr. Cook, keep the great storylines coming from the New York City Medical Examiners office.
