Rachel Keats suffers injuries after a car accident and is in a coma. Her ex-husband Jack McGill rushes to her bedside. They have two teenage daughters, Samantha and Hope, and Jack re-discovers hands-on fathering. He also re-discovers his love for Rachel as he waits for her to recover. Whilst looking after his daughters and caring for his wife, he has to juggle his architecture business and Rachel's upcoming painting exhibition. An excellent read - lots of character growth - very enjoyable.
