Drop Dead Gorgeous Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Drop Dead Gorgeous

When Wyatt Bloodsworth gave only 1 month to organize their wedding, his fiancée Blair Mallory knew that he's serious. Not wanting to risk a Las Vegas wedding which Wyatt threatened, she determinedly shopped for all her wedding paraphernalia before the deadline. However she did not count on being ran over by a psycho lady one evening after her shopping spree. Blair had had already been a killer's target before but thanks to her intelligence and the protection of her cop/boyfriend Wyatt, she succeeded to get out that situation alive. Now it seemed that someone wanted her dead again. When she confided to Wyatt, he did not believe her which made her angry with him. He thought that Blair was just being melodramatic and wanted to postpone the wedding. This left Blair to her own device in keeping herself alive. She became alert against cars who stalked her and phone messages that threatened her. However the stalker's activities escalated when Blair's house got into fire with her in it. Wyatt finally believed her and knew that the stalker meant serious business. They only had little clues on the stalker: it was female, drove different rental cars, and wore different wigs. Wyatt mobilized the task force to search for the woman. But in the end it was Blair who discovered the identity of the stalker. It was Wyatt's ex-wife, who had still lots of resentment and feelings for Wyatt. And she had Blair cornered and alone inside Wyatt's house. Blair had to think fast if she wanted to remain alive for her wedding!
