Everyone in Silico Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Everyone in Silico

It seems like everyone is moving to Frisco, a beautiful booming town that exists only on corporate computer servers, and whose citizens must leave their 'meat' bodies behind and pay a subscription to emigrate. Doug is a middle-aged coolhunter for an ad agency, and worries that his money problems will keep him and his family from upgrading along with everyone else in their social class.

Nicky is a starving artist. She works in the antique field of genetics, creating one of a kind chimeras and novelty animals for sale to wealthy buyers.

Eileen is a retired soldier, and brings her old battle suit out of retirement when the company that runs Frisco won't tell her where her grandson is now that he's upgraded.

All three are unwittingly used in a plan to destabilize the status quo, uncover the secrets of Frisco, and shape the future of their media saturated, hyper-capitalist world.
