His Secretary's Secret Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of His Secretary's Secret

Rumor has it that CEO Matt Grambling has two rules - never hire a secretary under 50, and never date anyone over 25. Karla Jones wants to move up in her career, and she knows she can handle the job as Matt Grambling's new executive assistant. With a little stage make-up and a grey wig, Karla manages to look twice her age and Matt hires her. Matt is impressed with Jennette, his new assistant; she's great at her job. He's even more impressed with Karla, the lovely young woman he met and started dating. Of course he notices the resemblance between them, but Karla allows him to believe that she is Jennette's niece.

Karla never intended to have a relationship with Matt outside the office. She can't resist him. The stress of keeping her two personalities straight is nerve racking, especially when Matt asks Jennette to accompany him to his remote cabin for a work weekend, then asks Karla to accompany him next weekend to the same place for a romantic weekend.

Karla knows she has to tell Matt the truth eventually, but she's falling in love with him, and doesn't want to lose him. She's hoping she can at least manage to keep her job, but she's running out of time. Someone at the office knows her secret, and is blackmailing her.
