From the first moment when Marlena manhandles Steve, he finds himself quite attracted to her. Shocking to the proficient killer, Marlena finds she is also distracted as Steve shows courage and a dry sense of humor even when his wrong gun is loaded. Marlena assumes her stud driver is CIA, but also knows that potentially he could be part of some other alphabet soup agency. Regardless of who planted Steve and her feelings for him, the consummate professional plans to do what she does best, complete her latest assignment.

Fans of taut romantic thrillers will want to join the lead couple INTO DANGER. The story line is loaded with action, especially double and triple crosses, and an assortment of intriguing characters though masks inside masquerades adds to the suspense. Though at times the tale seems undecided as to whether to satirize “Jane” Bond or go serious, fans of terse romantic suspense espionage thrillers will receive quite a high from this superb novel.
