Nicoji Book Summary and Study Guide

Sam and Jake are agriculural workers working in near-slavery like conditions on the alien planet, harvesting a shrimp-like delicacy. When the company is increasingly oppressive, they escape, attempting to make their away across dangerous, alien world to a rival company they have heard has better conditions. Along the way they learn more about the dominant indigenous species, which people had previously assumed were clever but non-sentient.
