This book, that has almost 450 pages and takes just too
much to actually begin, is good, but not up to the best

by Nora Roberts. The killer is very obvious, and the plot
has some mistakes that makes it easy for the reader to
figure it out what is really happening. Also, Nora wrote
some melodramatic scenes we already read in a thousand of
books. But it's still a nice reading.

The book soon goes on to when she is 12 and tells of her inner strugles... then on to 18 and finally 24 where the plot thickens and the monster comes back.
