"Miss Priss" Charlotte is the epitome of a proper governess. She has been hired to train two young, adorable children who grew up "uncivilized" to be proper but soon discovers she must teach their father, Wynter, to be presentable also. Almost immediately, Wynter decides he wants Charlotte to be the new mother for his children. She would love the idea if it didn't mean being his wife and giving in to desires she refuses to acknowledge. He struggles to make her recognize her feelings for him and she struggles to make him relinquish his belief that "real" men do not love their wives. It's an amusing story of two opposite characters intertwining their lives.
