Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Sex and the Serial Killer

In response to being dumped by her husband-- in favor of his highschool sweetheart-- Bobbi Jones treats herself to a makeover into a sexy siren that she never was. Once completing her makeover, Bobbi follows her cheating husband to Cottonmouth, California-- where he resides to be near his sweetheart. Bobbi hopes to make her cheating husband regret his betrayal by showing off her "new and improved" look to both her husband, and the residents of Cottonmouth-- especially to Nick Angel, the resident 'serial-killer'.

On the one hand, Nick finds his reputation as a serial killer amusing because it keeps the local busy bodies out of his business. However, on the other hand, Nick is annoyed with the local teenagers for using his erroneous reputation as a serial-killer as an excuse to throw dead animals in his front yard. Plus, Nick thinks Bobbi's amourous attentions are because she too believes that he is a serial-killer, which forces Nick to discourage Bobbi's interest in him.

Ultimately, in spite of all the misunderstandings, Bobbi and Nick both learn to trust and love each other, and the only thing that stands in their way of building a close relationship, is Bobbi's husband, and his involvement in the murder of his high school sweetheart's husband. Bobbi must now decide which is more important-- clearing the name of her husband from murder, or pursuing a loving relationship with Nick?
