This is a book written by actress and singer Demi Lovato. Despite all of her greatest achievements, Demi has faced numerous challenges. In 2010, Demi withdrew from her tour to enter a rehabilitation facility for personal issues. The public later learned she had assaulted one of her female back-up dancers and had also been suffering from bulimia, self-injury, in addition to addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Having overcome her serious struggles, Demi is now back stronger than ever and wishes to act as a role model to all of her dedicated, often very young, fans who look up to her. She is now an advocate for young individuals around the globe - sharing her problems with the world and encouraging people to never give up in the face of adversity, nor to hesitate to seek help when necessary.

This book is a 365-day collection of Demi's insights wherein every single day, she quotes an inspirational leader then proceed with applying this quote to her own life by providing an example of a struggle she has overcome, and then gives the reader a goal for the day - in relation to that same quote. This is an inspirational, daily read which shows the reader that no matter how famous one can be, one's journey can be difficult - yet all isn't loss.
Best part of story, including ending: I love this book as it is a collection of Demi's personal insights, and she is true to herself and isn't afraid to look back on her difficult experiences.

Best scene in story: I love every single page as she provides different situational circumstances, in no particular order, then gives very good goals to the readers, such as "Remember, pain is part of life. It helps us appreciate the happier times."

Opinion about the main character: Demi is a truly strong individual. Despite having overcome serious challenges at such a young age and having achieved the status of superstar, she has remained a down-to-earth individual who truly believes one has the power to change one's life. She also isn't afraid to appear vulnerable.
