Maggie knows she loves Nicholas Goodman, a successful attorney in a huge law firm. She knows that he loves her, too - he tells her all the time. Unfortunately, Maggie happens to be Nicholas' cat. Still, Maggie goes to Old Tom and convinces him to change her into a human, so that she and Nicholas can live happily together. If he doesn't keep his high-paying job, he won't be able to support his sister Deena. Deena and Nicholas' friend Hoop are convinced that Maggie would be much better for him, however, and it's not too long before Nicholas starts thinking the same thing.
