As usual there is a lot going on in addition to their investigations. Mma Makutsi is doing well with her typing school and has been able to rent a better house. Mr. J.L.B. Matakone has a lot on his mind. Mma Potokwane has persuaded him to make a parachute jump to raise funds for the orphan farm which he regrets. He also discovers that rival garage First Class Motors has been cheating their customers.   Will everything get worked out so the wedding preparations can continue?
