I know how maddie felt when she was abused by her husband. It is unusual that a romance book really touches that in a book. About how Jack made her feel after he found out about the daugher that maddie gave up for adoption. Jack is only out for himself and God help the person who stand's in his way. Maddie was right to get out of that situation.
