The Lost Race of Mars Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Lost Race of Mars

Three explorers are sent to Mars to search for signs of a long-lost alien race. Instead, however, they stumble onto a vicious wealthy man who runs an illegal drug ring. He has decided that they are a threat, so he uses the officials he corrupted in the government of Mars to hunt down and try to assassinate these explorers, using everything from androids built to look like their most trusted friends to nuclear weapons. The explorers must elude this criminal and rescue their captured friend while battling the entire corrupted government of Mars; they must somehow overturn this corrupt government and survive long enough to reveal the truth about the enemy they are fighting (often hand-to-hand). Along the way they encounter aliens who give them assistance, and other robotic aliens that try to kill them.
