Plot Summary Part 3

But he hates these jobs because they are not high class jobs like driving a car.

Nemi goes to Cindy and decides to blackmail her. She shows Cindy the photo of her drooling, unconscious, surrounded by liquor and medicine bottles, and says that unless Cindy gives her money that she will release the photo to the local newspapers. Cindy is outraged but starts to write her a check. Nemi says she refuses to accept a check and wants cash only. Cindy is forced to give Nemi $10,000 in a paper bag. Nemi, like a bank robber, flees with the money.

When Jende finds out that Nemi has blackmailed Cindy for $10,000, he is outraged. A man of his morals (who would create a phony story to get into the country, and lie to his employer's wife), would never do such a thing. But after thinking about it, Jende says they will keep the money but pretend they don't have it. Can you believe this? They keep the money but "say" they don't have it. This is just one of many examples how Jende feels morally superior while committing illegal acts.

Nemi is worried that they are all going to be deported from the country. She thinks maybe she should divorce Jende and pay an American money to marry him for a few years so she can get citizenship. She is so greedy for American wealth that she is willing to give up her husband for it.

Cindy, Edwards wife, dies of a drug overdose. Nemi does not feel responsible. If, instead of blackmailing Cindy, she had told Edwards that she was a drug addict, she might still be alive. But Nemi feels her hands are clean.

Jende's father dies back in Cameroon. One of his relatives films the funeral and makes a six hour DVD which Jende watches all of. A six hour DVD of a funeral??? Maybe Jende should submit it to Netflix, heh heh heh.

Jende decides he has had enough and is willing to go back to Cameroon. Nemi suggests instead that she divorce Jende and marry an American for a few years, using the blackmail money to pay him off. This is too devious even for Jende. He tells Bubakar that he is ready to leave the country. Bubakar is happy to help. He has paid Bubakar thousands of dollars and the only service Bubakar actually delivered on was getting Jende deported, heh heh.

Nemi comes up with another idea. She thinks maybe she should give her son Liomi to a homosexual couple and have them adopt him. The homos have told Nemi that they are on the prowl for a young boy and Nemi thinks that Liomi will suit their purposes. For Nemi, money, wealth, riches, and status is more important than family.  Nemi tells her plan to her local priestess. Her local priestess says that Nemi is a retard and should keep her mouth shut.

Nemi started opening her mouth to Jende and he smacked her. Wack wack wack!

Then Nemi actually asked him to smack her again! Jende complied.

Wack wack wack!

Wack wack wack!

Their son Liomi came out to watch, to learn what to do to his wife when he got married some day.

Wack wack wack!

Wack wack wack!

Then a neighbor shows up, hearing noise, and wonders if Nemi enjoys being beaten. Nemi assures him she is enjoying herself and having a wonderful time.

Jende packs up and gets ready to go. He goes to say goodbye to Edwards and explains his situation. Edwards acts surprised and says that if Jende had come to him earlier that he could have helped.
