Allan Folsom Message Board

kathy posts on 6/24/2008 12:17:36 PM I started to read one of Mr Folsom's books but was put off by the inclusion of witches. This seemed totally unnecessary as the political line was exciting enough. I didn't finish it and I'm really disappointed because it could have been one of the best thrillers I've ever read. Then I checked on your other books and all but one seem to have a anti-catholic or religion thread running through them. I am no longer a catholic but a Christian and I try to be careful what I put into my mind. Is Folsom a disgruntled ex-catholic or a fanatical catholic? Our book club tonight is going to be interesting.
alma posts on 1/12/2008 10:39:10 PM When is your next book due out Mr Folsom? I was just thinking that I did not want your most recent book -"the machiavelli covenant" to end without Bill Strait being caught, when the door bell rang......... When will I know what happened. I was up all night turning pages. A fabulous job on all your books!!!!!
ER posts on 7/16/2007 1:51:50 PM Great book. Tell me your next novel starts with Marten (with an e)answering the door.

alibaba posts on 3/28/2007 12:00:58 AM Alan, what were you thinking? I just finished The Machiavelli Covenant. It is so far fetched, so full of holes, that I could hardly finish it. What a disappointment after your previous efforts. You are a fine writer Alan, and you do not need these ridiculous contrivances to tell a good tale.
Marcia posts on 3/24/2007 3:28:37 PM I stumbled on to The Exile recently and could not wait to finish, but the closer I came to the end the slower I read! I did not want it to be over! Please tell me that there will/or is further adventures of John Barron aka Nicholas Marten! Surely by the way The Exile ended there is. I am absoluteley the newest and most ardent fan of Allan Folsom! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
claire hitomi posts on 12/7/2006 4:57:28 PM I have read all of Mr. Folsom's books. When will he have a new book available? Thank you.

Judge Martin Richter posts on 2/14/2006 5:41:22 PM When is Mr. Folsom going to release a new book? I have read his three releases and really would like to see him write another. His work is captivating to say the least. My favorite author!
Matt posts on 2/4/2006 4:02:50 PM I am a little behind the times(I just got the internet - Feb. 2006). So this is my first post on your books. Obviously without the net my free time was spent reading. I read your first two books and just bought The Exile this week. From the experience of reading your other books I know my sleep patterns will be messed-up when I start the new book. So when I am tired at work I will blame you, Mr. Folsom. Love your work.
Peter Morrison posts on 1/18/2006 12:35:16 AM Yes we are still recommending and selling Day After Tomorrow at Morrisons Newsagency Denmark Western Australia.... our sales for this small tourist town now exceed 1400. People in the book trade here in Western Australia can not believe our success with this title. Again keep in mind Denmark has a population of only around 5000 people. Other best sellers with us include Gideon, Silent Witness, Quiet Game, Dead Sleep and yes a title now that strong with other outlets, Up Country. It is fun selling books, would be great to meet Alan Folsom and get his views on what we have done with his books. Peter Morrison
