Barbara Erskine's book "Kingdom of Shadows" Wow!! Was that a great book! I honestly couldn't put it down (took me one day to read) Looking forward to reading her other books. I'm a fan of fiction, mostly Egyptian Fiction (historical)

Hi Tez! I have read that Ms. Erskine's next book to be released is "Daughters of Fire", due out in August, 2006. I have also read that the historical part is set in Roman Britain. In the preface of "Sands of Time", Ms. Erskine states that she would maybe like to write a sequel to "Midnight is a Lonely Place". I wonder if "Daughters of Fire" will be that sequel? Any thoughts anybody?

Hi
Im 14 years old & in the middle of reading Lady of Hay. I'm totally hooked! totally can't put it down.& i've only just found out about her! Wat have i been missing all these years? She was recommened 2 me by my school librarian. because im into much more sophisticated genre. You wouldn't find many my age reading this sort of thing, most have them have onlt ever heard of Jaqueline Wilson & JK Rowling. Anyways i'm luving it and don't think i'll ever read another author's book again.

I have loved everyone of Ms Erskine's books. My all time favourite author is Diana Gabaldon with the Outlander Series.(Her first book released as Cross Stitch in th U.K.) A must read for fans of this type of book, and for a woman who loves a man in a kilt.

When is your next book due?
Have wriiten a book myself and am at the editing stage, having visited Egypt many times you've guessed, it's a fiction adventure set in modern Egypt.
I loved Whispes in the Sand, and Sands of Time.
I was born in England but have lived in New Zeland for 40ty years, lots of stories down here.
Best Wishes, keep writing. Maureen.
