I just finished reading this book and I want to say that Damon had the best family, friends and especially his girlfriend all his life. I really admired both Celeste and his family for their continuous and never ending support they gave Damon. I borrowed this book but I am definitely going to buy my own copy.

This is the second time that I have read this book and I really love it but I would like to know a bit more about the definition of the Boers, Kaffirs and the Afrikaans. Where did they originally come from and what are they?
