Guy Shawkins posts on 3/17/2005 5:01:42 PM The last time I spoke with Carlene there was no mention of a new book. "All Fall Down" was re-released last year so, I doubt we'll see a new one from Carlene anytime soon...maybe around Christmas. It's also doubtful that any of her books, new or otherwise, will appear in large print. At one time "Black for Remembrance" was available on audio. It was read by actress Adrienne Barbeau. It's out of print now but, it pops up on searches through out of print book dealers.

Williemae Jackson posts on 3/17/2005 1:25:22 PM I have read all of Carlene Thompson books, she is an excellent writer. When will her next book be out and will it be printed in large print?
Guy Shawkisn posts on 3/4/2005 8:47:53 PM Carlene's main bio is in the back of all of her books. She currently resides in a small town in West Virginia where she takes in stray dogs. I've known Carlene for quite some time now and I must say she is a joy to know. She has a great sense of humor and knows just how to spin a tale of terror.

Guy Shawkins posts on 2/21/2005 11:01:29 PM Having read all of Carlene's books...starting back in '92 with the 1st printing of Black for Remembrance, I find myself eagerly awaiting her next novel. I met Carlene way back when and have been in touch with her through the years. Imagine my surprise when she asked to put my dog "Gypsy" in one of her books. What a thrill!!! She is, and remains, one of the best voices in suspense.
