Yay! Flukes books are going to be made into a cable series! These are light, sweet fun. I love food in my mysteries and enjoy Fluke, Diane Mott Davidson, Jill Churchill, Jane Rubino (not "food mysteries" per se, but a lot of good eating scenes), JoAnna Carl, G. A. McKevett.

I tried her "pork 'n beans" bread. I was totally surprised - it was fantastic.

The shortbread base with fudgy topping is the Highlander bar receipt. Very good.

This was on Jo's web site - www.murdershebaked.com just now.
"Breaking news -- Jo will be writing a cookbook with ALL of Hannah's published recipes, the ones on this list, plus a generous sprinkling of new never-before-published recipes. Kensington plans to release it in October of 2011, just in time for holiday baking and gift-giving. Now all Jo has to do is test every one of the recipes all over again -- let's hear a big "Awwwww! Poor Ruel!" for her chief taste-tester."

Do any of you remember a recipe from one of the books that was a bar with shortbread on the bottom with a fudgy brownie top. I think it was from one of Joanne Fluke's books but I can't find it again and would love to be able to make them.

I think it would be nice to have a recipe book published with recipes from the books.

Hello, does anyone have the blueberry shortbread bar recipe from the "Peach Cobbler" Murder? I've made it but misplaced the recipe.
