John Grisham Message Board

Sue posts on 5/30/2007 9:16:19 PM I live in Ada. John Grisham is a hero to some and not a favoite of one attorney. If he were interested, there would be another town where police and an OSBI agent covered up a killing.
Allen Young posts on 5/16/2007 2:40:51 AM thats a shame, i suppose ill read it anyway... hopefully his next one is up to par.. or better than par.
Geoff Pears posts on 5/13/2007 8:12:34 PM Yeah I've read it. It's no where near as good as his others, but it is okay.

Allen Young posts on 4/23/2007 11:16:31 PM Any body read "The Innocent Man" i havent recieved the oppritunity to start it yet
Geoff Pears posts on 4/1/2007 4:40:10 PM personally, i think that it made the book better. Yeah, he may have been a bad person for doing it, but it's not like he wasn't a lawyer.
Bill Garner posts on 3/25/2007 12:11:32 PM I'm not getting allworked up over it, don't misunderstand me. It's just one of those little nagging things that disappoints me about an otherwise great story. If put in the same situation (like this sort of thing happens to people all the time), I might have done the same thing...
annie posts on 3/25/2007 5:13:27 AM CHILL BILL. It's just a story. Consider the fine job the author did in motivating your thoughts.
Bill Garner posts on 3/24/2007 11:14:56 AM I am a latecomer to reading Grisham and have a comment about The Firm's ending vs. the movie ending. I am disappointed that he would have Mitch stealing $10M from the Moroltos. Stealing previously stolen money is still wrong and honestly makes him no better than the men he is running from. This is one of the few instances where I actually prefer the hack job Hollywood did to the ending of a book. Anyone else bothered by this?
Peter posts on 3/14/2007 4:04:47 PM Does anyone know where I can get some literary criticism on the book "The Rainmaker" by John Grisham?
Nicki Matthews posts on 2/19/2007 10:10:13 AM Can anyone explain the ending of the Chamber to me?! Did Lee and Adam get killed by the digger? I thought Rollie Wedge might be involved, but it states that the 3 men were black. May be they were just coming to dig the grave, but it sounded more ominous than that.
