Randall Arthur Message Board

ilovemybaby posts on 7/25/2008 12:34:23 PM I recently finshed reading Betrayal. Its very sad that Racheal had to go through a lot after being betrayed. But my question today is did she even get to read Clay's last letter?
Peggy posts on 8/8/2007 8:44:19 AM I read Betrayal a few years ago. It was the best therapy for me. I found Betryal when we were in Pennsylvania at a Provident Bookstore. My husband and I had just worked through the pain of his affairs. It meant so much to read exactly what I was going through. Instead of someone saying I understand, when they clearly had no clue what I was going through. I have shared this book with other women who are or have gone through "Betryal". It was healing for me.
Larry Koen posts on 8/8/2007 12:31:43 AM My wife recently requested that I buy her Jordan's Crossing. When we picked up the copy at our local Christian book store Patricia read it in one day! She told me her life had been forever changed by it's biblical truths. Patricia was raised in Highland Park Baptist Church in Chatanooga Tennessee. The unconditional love portrayed by Jason Faircloth is truly how we picture Christ. I read the book in three days and know that the author is writing out of much personal experience with the Lord. As a Preacher I would love to meet him or correspond with him. I truly hope the Lord puts another book on his heart soon they are life changing truths.

Jeff Mikres posts on 7/12/2007 2:38:07 PM I understand his real name is Randy Dodd and he has a church in Ga. If true I would like to know where. I am almost done with the book wisdom hunter and it is excellent to the max.
Naomi Wilton posts on 3/25/2007 10:55:11 AM I just finished reading the novel entitled: Wisdom Hunter by Randall Arthur. I found the novel riveting and exhausting! The ending , at least, was happy ever after. It was one of the most unique, christian novels that I have ever read and I am an avid reader. It reads easily; the reader is pushed right along with great speed in wanting to know the outcome of the various characters in crisis. I would like information on the author; the book gave no insight into his credentials and background. I plan to read Betrayal of the Brotherhood. I never heard tell of the book, which I just finished, until a friend loaned me her copy. I think it would make for an interesting movie! By the way, I think the book was poorly edited; I noticed the last sentences on some pages repeated on the next page. Also, there were some other grammatical errors.
Peggy posts on 3/14/2007 7:28:07 AM I am just wondering if Randall Arthur has another book coming out if so, when? I have read all his books and I am ready for another one. They are very powerful and have helped me and many friends along the way.
tlc posts on 1/2/2007 4:53:33 PM I will be leading a group discussion on this book soon. Does anyone have any suggested questions? I will need to re-read it as i read it several months ago. Any help is appreciated.
Ricardo posts on 12/29/2006 8:44:14 AM Randy is a very close friend of mine. Years ago I was a missionary and Randy and I struck up a friendship. I went through a very difficult divorce, severe rejection by the denomination and Randy was my only true friend. He and his wife took me into their home until I could get my feet on the ground. What Randy writes he lives, I can tell you this from personal experience. Both he and Shari are loving and caring people who have experienced much or most of the pain he writes about in his books and do all they can to redeem people hurt by the church. He writes from the heart and this is why his books reach the heart.
Tim Habeck posts on 12/20/2006 11:35:34 PM Randy's real name is Randall Arthur Dodd (I know him as Randy Dodd). He lives with his wife in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Some of his writing is somewhat autobiographical having been a pastor over the years (did some church plants overseas). I'm sure there is more out there on him...
posts on 10/6/2006 5:05:32 PM I, too, am hosting a discussion group to discussing Jordan's Crossing? Anyone have anymore info about this arthur/book?
