I agree with Myia, because I never new what was going to happen next. I also thought it was good to see maleeka stand up to Charlese.

i think the skin im in is a very good book because you can relate to whats happening in the book!My favorite character from ''The Skin I'm In'' is Maleeka. I like Maleeka because she is a bright girl and she learned not to let nobody treat her like dirt. Im very glad Sharon Flake made this book because its very inspirational.

Ithink that for a lot of people this book might not mean alo but this book helps you figure out who you rally are.I also think that the author helped alot people think that it does not matter who you are you have to believe in your self not in other people.Always be your self not someone who you are not.This bok has really helped alot of people express their selfes.

I think the book is very good. I wold say that my favorite character is Maleeka. I think she is brave to finally stick up to Charlese.

i liked "The Skin im in" bacause it teaches you that some peaople will just make fun of you just to make them feel good . for example john-jonh always made fun of maleeka even though he was as black as she was. another reason is because you never new what was going to happen next.

I agree with Myia because when you read the book you don't no what to expect next.When I read this book it was very exciting,because every time I would finish a chapter I could not wait to find out what was going to happen next.

"The Skin I'm In" book is a great book. When I got done Reading it, I thought to myself "now I know why this book got an award". If I could, I'd read it over. Honestly, my favorite character is Maleeka Madison because she's good at writing, and she probably look pretty.

I loved The Skin Am In.When I read the book it feeled so real!It was the greatest book I ever read in my whole life.I wish Ms.Flake will make a part 2 in The Skin Am In!!!!

"The Skin I'm In," book is very good ! It has very cool and funny characters. My fav character was John-John he's very funny when he sings he's rap.
