W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear Message Board

Harry Zee posts on 4/11/2005 9:08:28 AM I just finished PotR as I have been folloeing the Kennewick saga since the original find. Also thanks for the prologue and epilogue regarding that find and others. My question is, did I miss something or was "Coyote" never identified? Thank you.
Doug posts a message on 3/23/2005 10:59:27 PM I agree with Stephanie that People of the Earth was very good. I have read all the People books except the first novel...People of the Wolf. My favorite is People of the Lakes....once I started it, I couldn't put it down.
Stephanie posts on 3/22/2005 9:46:49 PM I love your story People Of the Earth. Its the best book that i have ever read and i hope you dont fail to continue your great creativity and hope that you both come up with more great stories.

ART BOYLE posts on 3/4/2005 7:13:59 PM LETS HAVE MORE ABOUT CHARACTER BROWSER AND CATLIN. AS I MENTIONED EARLIER EVERY TIME I RE-READ ONE OF YOUR NOVELS I COME ACROSS THINGS I MISSED PREVIOUSLY. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOUR WRITINGS. I WILL BE VISITING THE FOUR CORNERS AREA THIS SPRING.
Doug White posts a mild defense on 1/6/2005 9:09:51 PM I am very surprised at Clara Garrett's comment. I couldn't disagree more. The movement between the modern and ancient is what makes it interesting....it is what was past and what is present. I found the entire Anasazi series very good. If you read any of the People books...there are multiple plots/stories going on at the same time. For me, the multiplicity is what makes it interesting and has kept me with the Gears. Using archeological and anthropolgical facts, their style of writing offers a fascinating and unique look into the past.
Clara Fay Garrett posts on 1/6/2005 4:27:41 PM I get really confused with all of the jumping back and forth between the modern day story and the ancient story. I am really disappointed as a Teacher that so much is left out or left to the reader to just assume. Clara Fay Garrett
