Trench is an undercover DEA agent attempting to build an ironclad case against drug kingpin Papi Greco. He tries with his flunky, Stigman, to get some cocaine from Greco, but Greco is hesitant to hand it over. Despite being told to let the case go, Trench decides to hold a bank robbery with Stigman, steal Greco's money from the bank, and then attempt to incarcerate him for money laundering. However, instead of the 3 million they expect to find in the vault, they find 43 million instead. Stigman, it turns out, is actually is a Navy intelligence officer, and following orders, he shoots Trench and steals the money. Yet when Stigman's superiors find out he left Trench alive, they try to kill Stigman to tie up loose ends. Trench and Stigman go out hunting for the truth about the money, the people trying to kill them, and how to get out of such a tight spot. To make matters worse, the one person who knows Trench is undercover gets murdered by Earl, an angry CIA agent. It turns out the bank Trench and Stigman robbed was a secret stash for CIA black ops associates. Earl gives Trench and Stigman an ultimatum: 24 hours to steal the money back from the Navy facility in Texas, or Trench's girlfriend will be murdered. Breaking into the Navy facility will be no easy task, and convincing Earl not to kill them both will be even more difficult.
