Actors: Charlton Heston, George Kennedy, Karen Black

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Airport '75

This is the first in a series of air disaster movies made in the mid and late seventies. A Columbian Airlines Boeing 747 is flying from Washington from Los Angeles. Disaster strikes, when a small plane - whose pilot has a heart seizure - collides with the jumbo, blinding captain Patroni (Kennedy) and killing the co-pilot. With the plane veering out of control and equipments going haywire, it is left to the chief stewardess Nancy Pryor (Karen Black) - more with will power than flying skills - to try and land the plane safely .
