Beach Party is a film based around the singing and dancing culture of the 1960s teens. It begins in the summer when the kids are out of school and are spending their days surfing and frolicking on the beach. Also at the beach is a professor who is doing research on the behavior of young adults and their life styles. He uses one girl, Delores, as his contact to the youth and tries to examine them more for his research. Delores's boyfriend becomes jealous that the professor is spending more time with her then he is, so he finds a distraction. The movie reaches its climax when Frankie realizes what the doctor is up to and tries to stop him.

Best part of story, including ending:
This is a fun story that is comical and innocent. The singing and dancing adds to the story.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Delores asks the professor to shave off his beard so that all of the teens stop making fun of him behind his back.
Opinion about the main character:
I disliked the main character because instead of fighting for his girlfriend he just finds another girl to make her jealous. He is a weak character.
